DAY 1: FES – IFRANE – CEDAR FOREST – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA – LUXURY CAMP

- Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon and meet your camel caravan for a memorable ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the night in a comfortable luxury tent, with breakfast served at the camp the following morning. .
DAY 2: MERZOUGA – TINJDAD – TODRA GORGES – DADES
- Wake early to experience the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes before enjoying breakfast at the desert camp. Leave Merzouga and travel west through the desert landscapes of southeastern Morocco toward Tinjdad and Tinghir.Upon arrival at Todra Gorge, enjoy a walk between its towering limestone cliffs, shaped over centuries by the Todra River. The dramatic canyon walls and refreshing riverside setting make this one of the most impressive natural attractions in southern Morocco.
- Following a lunch stop, continue through the palm-filled oasis of Tinghir toward the Dades Valley. Along the way, admire traditional villages, colorful rock formations and the famous “Monkey Fingers.”Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the winding Tissadrine road and the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorge. In the evening, check in at your four-star hotel or riad in Dades, where dinner and overnight accommodation are included.
DAY 3: DADES – ROSES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – AÏT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

- The journey then continues to the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou. Following a lunch stop, explore this remarkable fortified village, known for its compact collection of traditional earthen houses, defensive walls and decorated towers. The oldest surviving structures are believed to date mainly from the 17th century, although the building techniques are much older.
- Continue through the picturesque Ounila Valley, where traditional earthen villages blend naturally into the mountain landscape. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at approximately 2,260 metres above sea level and enjoy spectacular views across the High Atlas Mountains. Descend toward Marrakech and arrive in the evening. The first day from Fes to Merzouga covers approximately 460–480 kilometres and normally requires seven to eight hours of driving, excluding stops. Merzouga to Dades takes approximately four to five hours, while Dades to Marrakech usually requires six to seven hours. Times may vary depending on traffic, weather, road conditions and sightseeing stops.

11. Is a complete 4×4 excursion around Merzouga and Khamlia included?
A complete 4×4 circuit around the Erg Chebbi dunes and a visit to Khamlia are not included in the standard three-day itinerary because of the limited schedule. A 4×4 transfer to the camp can be arranged as an alternative to camel riding. For the full desert excursion, we recommend customizing the itinerary or adding another night in Merzouga.
12. Will we visit Todra Gorge and Aït Ben Haddou?
Yes. On the second day, you will stop at Todra Gorge for a walk between its impressive limestone cliffs before continuing to Dades Valley. On the third day, the journey includes a visit to the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech.
