DAY 1: CASABLANCA / RABAT
Arrival at Casablanca airport. Welcome by our French-English-Spanish speaking driver and departure for the interior and exterior visit of the Hassan II Mosque. After the visit, lunch and departure for a panoramic tour of the economic capital: United Nations Square, Mohammed V Boulevard, the Anfa villa district, and the Ain Diab corniche. Then continuation to Rabat, dinner and accommodation. *For the visit inside the Hassan II Mosque, you will be joined with a group.
DAY 2: RABAT / MEKNES / VOLUBILIS / MOULAY IDRISS / FES
Breakfast and departure for a historical guided tour of the administrative capital Rabat. Lunch and departure for the guided historical visit of the city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco; a walk on the esplanade of the Royal Palace named Dar el Makhzen, decorated with the greatest historical gates. Then, departure for the guided historical visit of the Hassan Tower and the prestigious Mausoleum of Mohammed V. This marble mausoleum represents the traditional Moroccan style and is considered one of the most beautiful burial sites in the world. Followed by the discovery of the Mechouar ramparts, the Kasbah garden, and the Kasbah of the Udayas (built in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty; the great gate was built by the Almohad Sultan Yacoub el Mansour). DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR OF THE CITY OF FES
Breakfast and departure to discover Fes. You will begin with a guided historical tour of Fes El-Jdid and a walk on the esplanade of the Royal Palace to admire its mysterious golden gates, then continue with a guided historical walking tour of the medina, the largest medina (old city) in the world. Fes El Bali is the oldest district of Fes, founded between 789 and 808 by the Idrisids, then continuation to discover the Al Attarine Madrasa, built in 1323 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Said, whose decor is of extreme finesse and represents the authentic architecture of Eastern civilization, as well as an exterior view of the ancient Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University. It is one of the many sites in the Fes medina and certainly the most beautiful. Nejjarine Square and its fountain decorated with mosaics, the commercial sectors and lively local markets where you will see artisans and traders, as well as the Chouara Tanneries, established since the Middle Ages, one of the most spectacular places in the medina. Lunch, then departure to visit a world-renowned artisanal ceramics factory in Fes, followed by a continuation to a superb panoramic view at Borj Nord, offering a breathtaking view of the old city. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4: FES / IFRANE / CASABLANCA
Breakfast and departure towards Marrakech through the mountainous landscapes of the Middle Atlas. A short stop to discover the city of Ifrane, known as the "Little Moroccan Switzerland," located at high altitude and surrounded by one of the most beautiful cedar forests in the Atlas. A likely encounter with Barbary macaque monkeys. Route to Casablanca via the highway, with a lunch break in Rabat. Afterwards, continuation to the city of Casablanca, the economic city and the largest city in Morocco. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 5: CASABLANCA / EL JADIDA / OUALIDIA / SAFI / ESSAOUIRA
Breakfast and departure for Essaouira, also called "Ex-Mogador," located on the Atlantic coast; a good time for lunch in a seaside restaurant on the way to the village of El Oualidia, then continuation to Essaouira via the city of Safi. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 6: ESSAOUIRA
Breakfast and departure to discover the city of ESSAOUIRA, located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and nicknamed "Ex-Mogador." A historical guided walking tour of the city's Skala and the port with its many blue wooden boats lined in rows. The Portuguese Skalas of Essaouira are now a mythical place; its souks represent all artisanal trades and several traditional markets, the consulate district, and the Jewish Mellah district. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 7: ESSAOUIRA / MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure for Marrakech, also called "the Red City," located near the High Atlas Mountains. You might come across goats climbing argan trees and stop at an argan oil cooperative, recognized for its many properties. Continuation to Marrakech for a panoramic tour of both parts: the European part and the oldest part dating back more than 11 centuries called the Medina. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 8: GUIDED TOUR OF THE CITY OF MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful gardens in Marrakech; it includes over 300 plant species from five continents, colorful with its magical contrast between Majorelle blue, yellow, and its botanical artwork. Continue to discover the ramparts of Marrakech which formed a wall to protect the city, and the Bahia Palace dating from the 19th century, which reveals the love of a great vizier for his favorite. Lunch in the medina then continuation for a guided historical walking tour of the Marrakech medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site; its souks are full of enchanting scents and bright colors. Next, a visit to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Quranic school reflecting Saadian architecture. Afterwards, discovery of Jemaa El Fna square, the most vibrant district of Marrakech and the social heart of the medina with its snake charmers, acrobats, musicians, and water carriers, among the most famous squares in the world. A very interesting visit to a local herbalist where you will have the opportunity to discover the world of spices. Our journey concludes with the Koutoubia Mosque and its sublime 77-meter-high minaret. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 9: MARRAKECH / AIT BEN HADDOU / OUARZAZATE / DADES VALLEY / DADES
Breakfast and departure for Dades via the High Atlas Mountains to the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m altitude, the highest road pass in the country. Departure for an interesting visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which presents itself as a group of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, a traditional pre-Saharan habitat type. Some of its dwellings resemble small castles with their high towers. The oldest constructions date back to the 12th century. Continuation for a panoramic tour of Ouarzazate with a photo stop in front of the Kasbah Taourirt, then direction to the city of Dades for an incursion into the Dades Valley. You will discover surprising rock formations, such as "monkey fingers," a variation of color with remarkable natural landscapes, and a stop at the magnificent panoramic view of a part of the Dades Gorges, Tissadrine. Return to your accommodation for dinner.
DAY 10: DADES / TODRA GORGES / TINJDAD / ERFOUD / MERZOUGA / LUXURY CAMP
Breakfast and departure for the magnificent Todra Gorges via the town of Tinghir. You will find high limestone cliffs carved by the Todra river over millennia that can reach 300m in height; it is a natural jewel of southern Morocco. Lunch in Tinjdad and continuation to Erfoud, the gateway to the desert, to discover immense golden dunes until our arrival at the hotel in Merzouga. A camel trek through the dunes to admire a magnificent sunset. A break is planned on the dunes followed by a return by camel to the luxury camp for a dinner in a luxurious Bivouac and a typically animated evening in the desert atmosphere, an extraordinary and memorable desert moment. Accommodation in a luxury camp.
DAY 11: LUXURY BIVOUAC / MERZOUGA
Admiration of the magnificent sunrise followed by breakfast. Then, departure for a 4x4 excursion around the Erg Chebbi dunes, some of which reach up to 150m in height, then continuation to the village of KHAMLIA, an opportunity to experience a beautiful Gnaoua music exhibition. After the village of Merzouga and the Hassilabied oasis with its irrigation system, return for lunch at the inn and free time to enjoy the beauty of the desert at your accommodation, located directly at the foot of the sand dunes with pool access, to climb dunes and relax in this paradisiacal setting. In the afternoon, the perfect time to meet the camel drivers for a camel trek through the dunes to admire a magnificent sunset, a break on the dunes, and return by camel to your accommodation for dinner.
DAY 12: MERZOUGA / RISSANI / ALNIF / ZAGORA
After contemplating the magnificent sunrise and having breakfast, departure to Zagora via the village of Rissani for a walk in its SOUKS and a moment to taste local varieties of fruits and dates. Lunch in Alnif and continuation to Zagora through small Berber villages; a sighting of nomads along the way is planned, followed by a visit to the faded "Timbuktu 52 days" sign in the heart of Zagora, marking the city's former vocation as the final stop on the caravan route from Mali and Sudan. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 13: ESSAOUIRA / TAROUDANT
Breakfast and departure for Taroudant. On the way south, you will pass through a route offering magnificent landscapes. You will come across goats climbing argan trees, then continue to Taroudant. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 14: TAROUDANT / AGADIR
Breakfast and free day with half-board. Several options are available to you for this day: take the time to enjoy the seaside resort or, if you wish to participate in one of the optional activities, they are available from our representative. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 15: AGADIR / AGADIR AIRPORT / CASABLANCA
Breakfast and transfer to Agadir airport / transfer to Casablanca for a safe flight to your final destination.
