3 days from Fes to the desert (Round trip)

Breakfast and departure toward Merzouga, in the Sahara, passing through Ifrane. Nicknamed the “Little Moroccan Switzerland,” this high-altitude town is surrounded by a cedar forest, one of the most beautiful places in the Atlas. You will likely have the opportunity to encounter Barbary macaque monkeys there. After lunch in Midelt, the road continues toward Erfoud, crossing the Tizi n'Talghamt Pass (1,907 m above sea level) and the Ziz Gorges. This is the most spectacular stretch of the day; a photo stop is planned to admire the Ziz Valley, one of the largest palm groves in Morocco. Continuation toward the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, enjoy some relaxation time and admire the sunset over the dunes. Dinner awaits you in a luxury bivouac, followed by an evening of entertainment in a typical Saharan atmosphere. A memorable moment in the heart of the desert.

After taking time to admire the magnificent sunrise, breakfast at the camp. Departure for a 4x4 excursion around the dunes of Erg Chebbi, some of which rise up to 150 meters high. You will visit the village of Khamlia, a unique opportunity to discover Gnaoua music. The journey continues to the village of Merzouga and the oasis of Hassilabied to discover its traditional irrigation system. Return for lunch at the lodge, followed by free time to enjoy the paradisiacal setting of your accommodation located at the foot of the dunes (access to the swimming pool, walk in the sand). In the afternoon, you will meet the camel handlers for a camel ride. After a contemplative break at the top of the dunes to watch the sunset, return by camel to your accommodation for dinner.

In the morning, after enjoying the sunrise in the Sahara one last time, breakfast. Return journey to Fes following the same itinerary as on the way there, allowing you to admire once again the grand landscapes of the Atlas under a different light. Arrival in Fes and drop-off at your accommodation. End of our services.
